The folding design literally opens up an entire wall connecting the inside to the outside. When bifold doors are closed, the expanse of glass offers expansive views when compared to a typical window or door. It is possible to have two sets of doors that meet in the corner. For a complete open-plan effect, a fully moveable corner is an option so long as you have the steelwork and right structure in place.
What material do you choose? An aluminium frame is lighter than a timber frame. Aluminium bi-fold doors offer both high performance and superb thermal efficiency. A contemporary grey (RAL 7016) is by far the most popular colour choice but we also offer white and black as standard plus any other RAL colour if specified.
