Customising Your Bifold Doors
When deciding on the number of panels and overall size for your bifold doors, consider the following:
Available Space
Measure your aperture carefully. We recommend taking multiple measurements as outlined in our Measuring Guide
Opening Size
More panels allow for a wider opening, but also require more stacking space when fully open.
Glass-to-Frame Ratio
Fewer, wider panels mean larger glass areas and less visible frame when closed.
Traffic Door
For frequent use, consider incorporating a traffic door for easy access without opening the entire system.
Weight Distribution
Larger panels are heavier. Our expert team can advise on the best configuration for smooth operation.
